Giorgio Armani has nailed it again! A new collection of lipsticks has been launched a couple of weeks ago and everyone is buzzing about it. I tried them on and I really had to write this review, because you all have to know about the benefits of this amazing lipstick that actually is not a lipstick but a lip cream/ balm, with a high concentration of hyaluronic acid  [ which is naturally found in our skin tissues, it's a strong humectant and helps retaining skin moisture, therefore skin looks more plump and youthful ]  and Rose Muscat Oil  [ that moisturizes, restores radiance and helps regenerate the lips],

 it has the pigmentation of a lipstick and the shine of a lip gloss.

 

I'm truly amazed and impressed on the healing properties that this lipstick has and also about the color pay off considering this is actually a lip balm.

I've been using a nude shade of this lipstick (Ecstasy Shine no.503 / Fatale) for a couple of days in a row now and my lips have exfoliated so much, they are so soft, no dryness or flakes, it's just unbelievable.

The lipsticks have a high concentration of pigments, they glide on extremely smooth and they feel very silky and soft on the lips, their comfortable creamy texture provide an 8 hours long lasting moisture and color, they don't bleed, despite the high shine finish.

The glamorous red shiny packaging is slimmer then the usual ones, being very sleek and easy to pop into your bag.

 It comes in 18 shades and it has a couple of nude colors, browns, reds, pinks and plums.

Hey babes!

I feel like it's been an eternity ever since I wrote my last post on the blog.

 I actually felt so guilty for neglecting it for so long, but over the summer so many good things happened to me that kept me away from blogging, but if you follow me on Instagram (@miki_makeupartist) you definetely are up to date with what I'm doing lately. So luckily I was travelling a bit this summer and I had the chance to catch a bit of sun, because London wasn't too sun friendly this year, I assume that these last days were quite unexpectedly sunny for month of September. Therefore I got my hubby for a ride and we went visiting the Marlow Marina in Buckinghamshire and the surroundings, visiting some friends, sipping a glass of champagne, oh well, we really enjoyed it, it felt like we were young and restless, hahhaha, and I also had the chance to wear a few things that I couldn't wear all summer long because of the weather and took some pictures.

 I don't wanna get you too bored with a lot of details, this is a Zara dress that I bought back in June or July if I'm not wrong. I really planned on wearing this one a lot, but it wasn't meant to be. I really like this lace dress, it's so easy to wear and so comfy.

It's a stretchy lace fabric and I like the fact that it doesn't have straps and it comes in layers off my shoulders.

First of all I have a big announcement! Elf Cosmetics is finally here in UK, exclusively at Superdrug, so if you're a fan of their products, now you have them just around the corner.

They teamed up with Preen.me  and because I live in UK I've been asked to try out some of their new stuff and they sent me a lot of Elf Cosmetics goodies. I was delighted to try them out.

As soon as I got the parcel I eagerly opened it and played with them, I have a few favorites already, I'm gonna review each of them in separate posts.

Among all of these products, a shiny little buddy caught my attention like gold in the mud, hhahaha. It's the Molten Liquid Eyeshadow in 'Rose Gold' and it was love at first sight, especially because I adore liquid eyeshadows and above it all, especially this shade, a rose gold color, ahhh I cannot...

This shade it's a lovely metallic color , very creamy, it dries out quite fast, so make sure you blend it evenly and it looks more like a golden beige color with a hint of pink. So gorgeous! So happy I've discovered a dupe for my Giorgio Armani Cold Copper Eye Tint.

Hello Beauties!

I started a favorites of the month video series and these are my May favorite beauty products and I want to share them with you. These are products that I used the most in the last month, meaning that I mainly used these products almost every day and I really like them, they make my life easier :)).

I'm gonna start off with my favorite skin care product at the moment.

1. SkinCeuticals Hydrating B5  face serum it's an easily absorbed face serum for any skin type, it has a high concentration of hyaluronic acid which helps the skin be more plump and hydrated. It's a perfect base for your makeup, especially if you have combination skin, because it doesn't leave a greasy residue onto the skin.

3. Giorgio Armani Maestro UV Primer, it's a hydrating primer with SPF 50, suitable for any skin type, especially for dry skin.

4. Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation, a lightweight, silky formula foundation, medium coverage, buildable to full coverage, no SPF, so it's perfect to wear for any kind of events, because it doesn't flash back when you're taking flash photography.

5. Giorgio Armani Eye Tints are my favorite liquid eye shadows at the moment, they are not greasy, they don't crease during the day, they have a high concentration of pigment. My favorite shades are No.11 (Rose Ashes) and No.9 (Cold Copper), but there are a wide range of colors.

It's spring, it's warm outside, blossom trees, flowers and burst of colors all around, endless reasons to be happy and enjoy the good weather and everything around us.

I came up with this colorful makeup look, inspired by the spring colors outside. This is the perfect look to match these sunny days and to cheer you up on a rainy day ;)

Colors are everywhere in spring and I feel like I wanna take a picture with myself and every blooming tree that stands in my way :)))) How crazy is that?

Also the new and limited edition MAC colorful mascaras inspired me to do this look and I will show you another way to use them other than the normal on lash application :)
I also tried for the first time the new Huda Beauty Mettalic Lipstick in Socialite and some other new products. I will write them down below.

I finally had the chance to try out the Colourpop Cosmetics Shock Shadows and Ultra Matte Lipstick and I'm gonna show you how I created this makeup look step by step.
 

 I also wanted to achieve a full coverage face makeup and I used the Giorgio Armani Power Fabric foundation on top of the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation.


These Colourpop Cosmetics Shock Eye Shadows are so versatile and creamy, therefore I used them to highlight my cheeks and also as a blusher. I'm very happy with this glam look and it's perfect for a night out or for going to an event because it's a very sultry and eye catching makeup.

 Hello Girlies,

I wanted to review this Clinique  'All About Eyes'  Eye Cream, that I've been using a lot a few years ago and now I just rediscovered it while I was shopping makeup in Harrods.

I already use their Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion for about 7-8 years now, I use it on my clients as well, because it doesn't irritate the skin in any way, but this is another topic so if you want me to review the face lotion, please let me know.

My Thoughts on Clinique All About Eyes:

I used to love this eye cream years ago and then I got lost into trying other eye creams, you probably know what it's like, you always hope on finding the miracle cream, but actually I've never been completely happy. Now after trying Clinique 'All About Eyes' cream once again I fell in love with the smooth and creamy texture, it feels very silky, jelly like, hydrating and refreshing and I noticed that my concealer stays in place better now when I first apply the cream, which is easily absorbed in the skin without leaving a greasy residue.

I usually apply it in the mornings when I prep my skin just before applying the makeup and I feel that it helps me a lot with the puffiness and tiredness underneath my eyes, I don't really have dark circles though, so I cannot tell if it helps against that too, but for sure it helps holding my concealer in place all day long without creasing.

I feel that it's also blurring the appearance of my fine lines around my eyes, which is a huge plus and I would definitely repurchase this eye cream when I finished my pot.

The 'All about Eyes' cream comes in a lovely 15ml pink opaque pot with a stylish silver lid and it retails for £26.50.
