NEW!!! Giorgio Armani Power Fabric Full Coverage Foundation

Hello Everyone!

Today I'm gonna review this new Giorgio Armani Power Fabric Foundation and I will tell you my honest opinion about it. ;)

I've been using this foundation for a couple of weeks now and I'm really impressed of the coverage and the way it lasts during the day. This is the first full coverage and long wear foundation in Giorgio Armani foundation ranges and it has SPF 25.
It's inspired by the Maestro technology, being comfortable and lightweight to wear, and by the Eye Tints High Pigment Science for a pure and intense color and high coverage.
It comes in the same packaging as Luminous Silk Foundation, in a sleek matte bottle with a pump and a shiny lid with a red Giorgio Armani logo and it retails for £40.
The texture of this foundation is thicker than Maestro Fusion Foundation, for those of you who know and use this one, but it's the same matte smooth and silky finish, which gives you a flawless finish, without being cakey or dry.
The name of the foundation might sound strange for some of you, but Giorgio Armani was inspired by the Power Jacket - Iconic Armani Jacket, 'being able to move freely and naturally, which follows the body like a second skin.'

The Power Fabric Foundation claims to be two in one product, conceals the face imperfections with a natural, second skin finish and it can also be used as a full coverage concealer.

I'm combination skin and sometimes I have issues with my skin, having red spots or pimples and after trying this foundation out, I was hooked. I noticed it's not a completely matte finish, it gives my skin a subtle radiant finish, that looks like my skin, but in a better condition ;) .
It literally looks like it's airbrushed on my face. I was amazed the first time when I tried it, because I'm usually scared to try matte high coverage foundations, due the fact I have some dry patches on my cheeks and around my nostrils and these kind of foundations tend to accentuate even more the dryness.
But Power Fabric doesn't! It's true that I use a moisturizer or a hydrating primer (Giorgio Armani Maestro UV Primer) before applying the foundation and it gives me the most natural full coverage finish.
I also like setting any foundation with translucent powder (Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Compact Powder) and this way it lasts even more on my face.
I tried it with and without the setting powder and it works both ways, only that without the powder my natural oils came out a bit more, and I was a bit more shiny at the end of the day, which is not a huge problem for me, but the foundation was still in place, without creasing or setting in my fine lines.
And the amazing thing that I like about this foundation is that it doesn't feel tight on the skin like other full coverage foundations that I tried.

What they say:

'Upon application, the texture melts into the skin, weightlessly concealing the appearance of imperfections and creating a long lasting, no makeup feel. Like the Armani jacket, that timeless wardrobe essential, power fabric has been created for a successful, confident, modern and elegant woman. This full coverage foundation dresses the skin, enhances the look of facial features and targets the appearance of fatigue.

Because every woman, and every complexion, is unique, POWER FABRIC comes in 15 shades to suit every skin tone from pale to dark. The formula is adapted for each shade to deliver optimal coverage that illuminates the appearance of complexion, without creasing or fading. With an SPF 25 filter, POWER FABRIC is a long-lasting foundation that offers effective daily UVB protection.'

I just found a color match guide that it might be helpful for you, because the shades in Power Fabric Foundation don't match Luminous Silk and Maestro Fusion Foundation.

You can also watch the video that I recorded to review this foundation and you can see the coverage and the finish of Power Fabric Foundation.

Let me know if you already tried this foundation! I would love to know your opinions ;)

See you soon guys!
