Hello Sweeties!

Actually this is my New Year's Eve makeup look, I know it's kinda late to show it to you, but better later than never.

I was really sad about the curls that lasted an hour or so, but despite this I had a really good time with my hubby, my sis and our friends.

I didn't want a dark or smokey eyes makeup, but a colorful and sparkly one to enlighten my face and as a superstition, to enlighten my whole year to come. I'll tell you a secret... It was the first time in a long time, when I felt that this year is going to be very important to me. :)

Ben Nye Pearl Sheen PS-16 White Gold to illuminize the brow bone

Stila Smudge Pot Gel Eyeliner in Cobalt applied along the upper lash line

Stila Glitter Eye Liner in Sea Green applied over the Cobalt gel eyeliner

MUFE Khol Pencil 1K applied on the waterline and smudged down on the lower lash line with the MUFE 092 purple eyeshadow

L'Oreal Volumissime x 5 Carbon Black Mascara

Merry Christmas my sweeties! I wish you all the best in the world, peaceful and joyfull homes and thank you for reading my blog and supporting me all this year.

I want to share with you a holiday or better said a Christmas makeup look and I hope it will be useful to you.
I used Christmas colors such as green, red, gold and some fine glitter.

Did you know the origins of the Christmas colors?

Well. according to the christian belief "the color green is a natural representation of eternal life, specifically the evergreen tree and how it survives through the winter season. MAC Bare Study Paint Pot on the center of the lid, used as a base for the L'Oreal Color Infaillible- Sahara Treasure 021
I apllied MAC Teal Pigment to the outer and inner corner of the eyes, then to give a little depth I applied a black eyeshadow, I accentuated more the outer corner and dusted just a little black to the inner corner
Above the crease I blended MAC Passionate Eyeshadow
I highlighted the browbone with MAC Nylon Eyeshadow
MAC Blacktrack Fluidline along the upper lashes
I patted some fine glitter all over the lid - MAC Reflects Antique Gold Glitter Brillants
MUFE Khol Pencil 1K used on the waterline and also along the lower lashes, then I blended the black with MUFE Star Powder 955 (it's a gorgeous maroon with blue-green highlights)
MUFE Smoky Lash mascara
Gypsy False Lashes 96 Black

Sephora Smoothing Primer (clear)

Estee Lauder Maximum Cover Foundation (Medium-05) + L'oreal HIP (Nude-800) I used a combination of these two because the Estee Lauder one has a reddish tone and I needed a yellow undertone, the maximum cover foundation also acts as a concealer.

Kryolan Translucent Loose Powder

Eyes:

Too Faced Shadow Insurance

I applied a black eyeliner on the upper and lower lash line and extended it on the outer corner of the eye to have a dark base for the MAC Violet Pigment that I applied in the outer V

In the center of the lid I applied Make Up Atelier Violine Irise (T093) eyeshadow

Barry M Dazzle Dust dd31 Lavender for the inner corner of the eye

L'Oreal Volumissime x 5 Carbon Black ( you can apply false lashes if you wish)

Well Christmas is coming soon so I thought that a Christmas inspired makeup look would be appropriate to do.

So I used a peachy pink color, burgundy and a little black in the outer corner of the eye,  a light gold color in the inner corner of the eye. Here it is!

Kryolan Sparkling Eye Dust (Satin Powder) in Rosa Gold, a peachy rose applied wet on three quarters of the lid

Kryolan Satin Powder in SP562, it's a burgundy color which I applied wet on the outer corner of the eye and also in the crease, then I blended it with a little bit of black eyeshadow to darken the color. The upper lash line is lined with wet black eyeshadow
On the lower lash line first I applied burgundy color then I blended with black.

Artdeco Eyeshadow No.27 (a shimmery beige color) for highlighting the brow bone and feathering the harsh lines

Make Up Atelier Eyeshadow in White Gold (T141) for the inner corner of the eye

... eyeliner on the lash line and a little winged out, over it apply Teal pigment and then on top of Teal apply Golden Olive pigment...

on the lower lashes follow the same steps
